由公社科、中文科與圖書館合辦的「滙基御膳房之御廚爭霸戰」於5月6日順利舉行。在黃金閃閃、書海綿綿的場面下,師生們運用無限創意和巧手,製作出多款精緻並色藝俱全的御膳糕點。
活動由御膳糕點比賽打頭陣,五隊參賽師生在限時二十分鐘內,以泥膠即場創作出自選御膳糕點,並由馬文康副校長、翁江樺老師及鄧潔儀老師作為評審,最後選出由韓己仁老師、李約賓老師及郭俊軒老師的星級御廚隊,以及3D吳倩彤、黃衍心同學為一品御廚。
最後,中五級伍心瑜及李悅蔚同學的閱書分享也為活動參加者帶來有趣的御膳及歷史知識。
Jointly organised by the Citizenship and Social Development, Chinese Language Department, and the Library, the “UCC Imperial Kitchen’s – Battle of Master Chefs” was successfully held on 6 May. Surrounded by golden hues (the prize) and books, teachers and students showcased their boundless creativity and skill by creating a variety of exquisite and visually stunning imperial cuisine pastries.
The event kicked off with the Imperial Cuisine Pastry Competition, where five teams of participating teachers and students had twenty minutes to create their own selected imperial dishes using modelling clay. The judging panel, Vice Principal Mr Ma, teachers Mr Ang and Miss Tang, selected the Star Master Chefs team, composed of Mr Hon, Mr Lee and Mr Kwok, and the students from Class 3D as the winners.
Lastly, S.5 students wrapped up the activity with an engaging book-sharing session, bringing interesting facts and historical knowledge to the audience.
